She moved to Montego Bay, St. James, Jamaica and from there to the United States of America, where she attended the Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY. She majored in Liberal Arts and Interior Designing, she got transferred to University At Buffalo, there she majored in Psychology and Global Gender Studies. Tanya loves traveling and considered herself a nomad. She loves writing, it is 'breathing' for her. Next to her writing, she loves her cat Mataayow.
